Why The Great Lakes Limousine Association Came TogetherThe Great Lakes Limousine Association was established in 1997. The reason at that time for us to come together was to work together to regain access at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Since that time we have been getting stronger, and have become a highly recognizable group at all levels of government. The Purpose of the GLLA shall be to provide a region wide forum for the exchange of information and views by members of the GLLA, as well as, to provide a mechanism for the collection of information and inform members about matters of mutual interest and concern. The GLLA is also here to advance the interest of the industry, and its members before State, and Federal regulatory authorities. We are additionally here to perform such duties as will benefit the GLLA and its members. One such duty is to assist regulatory authorities in the elimination of illegal Limousine Operators.By accomplishing this, the general public will know they are in a safe, insured vehicle, and allow Legal Operators to compete on a level playing field. The idea behind this Web Site is to educate the general public on the laws, and what to look for when it comes to reserving a Limousine as well as to keep Limousine Operators up to date on new regulations, and what the Association is doing for them.
